Welcome to Manistee Assembly of God… Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to explore the ministries that are available to you.  As you navigate your way through our site, it is our desire to communicate more than just information, but rather to share the heart and passion of our church family with you!

Our purpose is simple… to help you find and fill yours!  We believe that God has a unique and intentional purpose for your life.  We are committed with enthusiasm and Spirit-Filled energy to partner with you in reaching your God-given potential.  While being relevant to our 21 century culture and yet remaining Biblical, we will demonstrate how becoming a follower of Christ can transform your entire life.  How better to do that than to write that truth across our everyday lives!

COMING TO THE BIG SCREEN AT MANISTEE ASSEMBLY OF GOD THE MOVIE "COURAGEOUS"

Manistee Assembly of God will be showing the movie  "Courageous" which is still in movie theaters across the United States and Canada.   Showing on the big Screen at the Church on New Years Eve and  on every Friday Night in January 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th at 7:30 pm. Doors will open at 7:00pm.  The reviews of this movie have been powerful!  It is a movie that will not only change, but help strengthen and bring families back together.  A great challenge to Dads and Fathers as well.

The movie and the popcorn are free but you must secure your tickets in advance!   We will have a free will offering at the door for those who would like to help out with the costs we will incur.

"COURAGEOUS" is rated PG13 with a running time of 2 hours and 10 minutes.  After viewing it, we  would not suggested for children under 9, however, we will allow the parents to decide.  The rating is due to Police/type violence and there is a scene with drugs in it.  There is no foul language or sex in this movie.  We are asking that No one under the age of 17 unless accompanied by a parent because are promoting these nights as "Family Nights" and desire parents to view the movie with their children. 

If you are a husband and wife and you need a "Date Night" get a babysitter and watch this movie.  We will have limited nursery up to two years old but please let us know in advance so we may accomodate you.

We are also looking at the possibility of having Men’s Ministries from area churches to be involved for a special Saturday Screening and Chili Cook-off on Saturday, January 21.  If your Men's Ministry Leader and your Men's Ministry would like to attend... bring your best pot of chili... and view the movie, please contact manistee.ag@hotmail.com for ticket reservation and availability.

If you have seen the movies “FLYWHEEL,” “FACING THE GIANTS,” or “FIREPROOF,” then you will not only enjoy, but be challenged as a family.
